Envelopes Speak Volumes: What Are They Saying About Your Business?

I know how I feel receiving mail from companies using printed envelopes. I feel like I am dealing with professionals from a legitimate business. That is why my business uses them."
Karen Scott, President, Scott's Office Supplies

As simple as it may seem, envelopes are a necessity in most day-to-day business practices. Every business has something to mail. Whether quotes, invoices, samples, payments or the like, envelopes play an important role in the amount of professionalism and reliability your company is perceived to have.

Make the perfect first impression!

Making your company appear as an established and successful is one of the jobs of your business envelope. Consider this scenario. A company sends you an inquiry letter asking you to consider using them instead of your current provider for a particular service. Their letter is sent in a standard white envelope with your address and theirs hand written in barely legible writing. Now, on the same day you also received a second inquiry letter from a different company also asking you to use them as your new provider for the same service. Their letter is also enclosed in a white envelope but it has been professionally printed and features their logo, company colors and a easily readable return address in the upper left-hand corner. Judging just the two envelopes, which would you have the most confidence in hiring to be your new health insurance provider, long distance carrier, or even your internet provider if both letters featured the same benefits and savings? Considering how affordable printing is in today's market, don't let your first impression be less than perfect.

Mail with a purpose!

Without a doubt your company logo should appear on the outside of your business envelope. This is part of your company's branding efforts and you want people to see it as they are going through the mail. Depending on your logo and your budget, your envelope can be printed in one, two, three or four colors. The least amount of colors used to print, the least expensive the price will be. For tight budgets, use only one color. Your mailings can still project professionalism with one color printing and, most importantly, still display your logo.

Enjoy the convenience!

As a great addition to your office stationary, having envelopes professionally printed will also save you time. No longer do you have to painstakingly write in your company address in the upper left-hand corner or carefully position your ink stamp to ensure a straight impression. Just grab an envelope and your done. You will appreciate the convenience!

Our company did a mailing to our entire database a few months ago. Thank goodness we finally decided to get envelopes printed and didn't have to stamp each and every one like we did last year. If I had known how affordable they were I would have ordered them a long time ago."
